Why do customers prefer self-checkout shopping cart than ordinary shopping cart ?

Self-checkout shopping carts are now available in many supermarkets and grocery stores ,but most retailers still retain ordinary shopping carts when they deploy self-checkout shopping cart projects .

The fact is that customers prefer to use self-checkout shopping cart than ordinary shopping carts , so there is always a scene that self-checkout shopping carts were used out , but there are still ordinary shopping carts lining at the entrance of the supermarket .

I asked some customers and knew some facts .

Aunt Wang lives near this supermarket and is a loyal customer of this supermarket . She said that initially she didn’t want to try the self-checkout shopping cart as she has got used to using the ordinary shopping cart . “This self-checkout shopping cart is so clever and intelligent that it guides me in my shopping journey ,it supports me checkout by myself , I found the self-checkout shopping cart has brought me much convenience .” said Aunt Wang .

She doesn’t need to wait in line any longer , neither does she need to consult supermarket staff .
